City of Lethbridge Permit Process
The first step in getting approval for a business is to determine the location of the business, and to make sure that the type of business is an allowed use in that zoning district.
Most businesses require approval from the City of Lethbridge Development Services department before they can qualify for a business license. Any business providing goods or services in the City of Lethbridge is required to hold a valid City of Lethbridge Business License.
If you need to make changes to your building in order to accommodate your business, you may need a building permit.
