Political Supports
The County and City of Lethbridge are each governed by a set of democratically elected public officials. The mayor (for the City) and reeve (for the County) lead a team of aldermen or councilors. Their role is to provide the administration with a direction and offer guidance, as well as to represent the citizens of their respective communities. Lethbridge is served by three Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) in the provincial capital of Edmonton. MLAs vote on provincial legislation and assist constituents with problems and concerns related to the provincial government.
