Miro Bistro earns its `European Cuisine΄ reputation honestly. The owner, Miro Kyjac, was the
son of a chef who grew up in Czechoslovakia, surrounded by the language and nuance of
food preparation and good eating. Located in downtown Lethbridge, Miro Bistro has found
a home in a beautifully decorated 100 year old historic building. The menu features a
selection of imaginative salads, original appetizers, delicious main dishes, pasta and pizza
from a wood fired oven.
Miro also has a very traditional touch by interacting with his patrons. I like to be hands-on
in the kitchen, but I like to meet and greet my customers, many of whom I know by name.

Salads including roasted beets with orange segments and hazelnut oil
Appetizers like steamed asparagus with shaved parmesan
Main dishes offer pheasant ravioli with cream sauce and lamb ragout with spaetzle

Every year since 2005 Miro has been acknowledged with the Award of Excellence
from Wine Spectator Magazine for outstanding wine selection
In 2008 he received the Small Business of the Year Award from the
Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce
