Environment Canada has listed Lethbridge in the top 10 grouping of Canadian cities with the highest number of hot days during the year and the most sunny days year round. In addition, Lethbridge ranks in the top 5 Canadian cities for having the sunniest summer and autumn days. Contrary to popular belief, Lethbridge is not the windiest city in Canada but it’s citizens do enjoy the Chinook winds that bring warm winter weather.
